We're committed to supporting local community groups and promoting an inclusive workplace. Since 2018, The Upper House commenced its partnership with Hong Kong Down Syndrome Association (HKDSA) to offer vocational training and job experience to its members. Those selected to join the programme complete 18-hours of training followed by a two-month attachment across different departments. As a testament to the success of the programme, The Upper House has hired three graduates in part-time and full-time roles in Housekeeping and Guest Experience.

We understand the importance of reducing our impact on the planet and showing our guests the steps we’ve taken to provide a greener hotel experience. We’ve started by eliminating all single-use plastics from in-room consumables, installed filtration taps for unlimited drinking water and sourced natural bathroom amenities in recyclable aluminium tubes.
