A CULTURAL TEA JOURNEY WITH BASAO
Harmony, respect, sophistication and joy. The spirit of gong fu tea runs through our collaboration with Xiamen tea brand BASAO this Lunar New Year as we present four speciality teas reflecting the unique stories of The House Collective.
Culture has always been one of our core values. It comes again to the fore in this partnership. The BASAO sensory tea experiences are designed to be as individual as our Houses and their cities, drawing on their unique character. Baiya Qilan, Jasmine Silver Needle, Hand-Rolled Nepali Tips and Lapsang Souchong have been meticulously selected for Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Chengdu, respectively. Inspired by the cities’ identities, mixologists from each House have created distinctive tea cocktails.

As part of our BASAO collaboration, Chef Tony Ye and mixologist Rachel at The Middle House thoughtfully showcase Baiya Qilian oolong tea in special dishes and a limited-time cocktail.
