Only at Our Houses

At The House Collective, creativity is part of our DNA. It pushes us to create fresh, new experiences that we’re excited to share with you.

Recently, it’s been a whirlwind of inspiration. We’ve been collaborating with likeminded partners for immersive and innovative culinary experiences, adventures in sustainability, exclusive stays and holistic approaches wellness. Here’s a peek at everything that’s been keeping us busy and inspired.

ZERO WASTE, 100% DELICIOUS

Last month, our four House mixologists brought The House Collective experience to the Singapore Cocktail Festival. Sustainable and zero-waste, the cocktails channeled the festival theme and our own eco-conscious values.

Gail Lanorias (Salisterra), Matthew Hall (Café Gray Deluxe), Harry Zhang (Union) and William Zhang (JING) shook and stirred up eco-friendly drinks at top-rated Singapore bars 28 Hong Kong Street and Smoke & Mirrors over two nights in May. Soon, we’ll be launching a zero-waste cocktail menu at all four of our Houses and inviting Mel Chavez of Smoke & Mirrors for a guest shift tour across our cities. Stay tuned!

KITCHEN CROSSOVERS

Teaming up with culinary changemakers make our concepts as fresh as the ingredients we use – from multi-sensorial experiences to sustainably driven expeditions.

In Shanghai, we came together with art collective teamLab for an immersive Flowing Feast where our chefs from The Middle House, The Opposite House and The Temple House created a 12-course menu to create an immersive dining experience. Set in teamLab’s captivating digital art museum, each plate from Chefs Tony Ye, Li Dong and Tony Xu melded with the projection artworks for a multi-dimensional experience.

Modern pasta bar Yaya’s popped up at Superfly for two tasty nights in May, serving up Chinese twists on Italian classics for hungry guests at The Opposite House. In Chengdu, we invited our House friends to artist Qi Yun’s sustainable farm to pick naturally grown fruits and vegetables before our chefs from The Temple House joined hands with Qi Yun for a farm-to-table fete.

Behind the bar at The Middle House’s Café Gray Deluxe, mixologist Carson Xie from Pollux in Chengdu shook up cocktails at his guest shift.

At The Temple House’s JING bar, we welcomed Gagan Gurung from Tell Camellia in Hong Kong for an evening of creative tea cocktails and partnered with The Rambler Gin for three days of guest shifts.

HARRODS AT THE OPPOSITE HOUSE

A little slice of London has arrived in Beijing. We launched The Harrods Residence Suite, in collaboration with the British luxury department store, for an exclusive stay.

It’s your House experience, amplified and made quintessentially Harrods with iconic collectibles and a bespoke Harrods afternoon tea. The two-story suite is outfitted with a curated collection of luxury brands to further elevate an already-plush stay in our open-plan dining and living space, complete with a terrace and special relaxation zone in the bedroom.

A CELEBRATION OF WELLNESS

At our Houses, wellbeing is a journey, not a destination – and it’s a journey worth celebrating. On June 10, we put Global Wellness Day’s motto “One day can change your whole life” into action at all our Houses.

In Beijing, we hosted stretch yoga sessions followed by brunches at Frasca.

In Hong Kong, we partnered with All Great Peoples for the first in a series of monthly retreats called Reclaiming The 7 Deadly Sins. Our Salisterra team designed wellness treats to complement the half-day retreat of movement, guided meditation and group hypnotherapy.

In Chengdu, friends of the House came together for a wellness party with premium sportswear brand Descente.

In Shanghai, we hosted stretch yoga sessions followed by brunches at Café Gray Deluxe.

SHOW YOUR LOVE

We’ve been nominated! Three of our Houses have been shortlisted in the World Spa Awards 2023. Your support got us here and means the world to us. Just a little bit more will take us to the top!
