EXPERIENCES

The House Collective x Tom Dixon

Driven by a shared love and appreciate for art, we partnered with the iconic British designer Tom Dixon in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai this winter. Just as our Houses each have their own unique personality, all three collaborations were unique to the cities and showcased the partnership through a different lens.

The Upper House

At The Upper House, Hong Kong artist Felix Chan came together with the team at Tom Dixon for an avant-garde Christmas tree as a part of our annual tradition to benefit local charity. Tom Dixon‘s signature Melt Floor silver LED light formed the body of The Angel Christmas tree while Felix set the lamp on a solid base of black terrazzo, adding a dash of whimsy with iridescent lighting tubes to make celestial wings and a halo.

The Opposite House

In Beijing and Shanghai, we crafted design-led stays that immersed our guests in the world of Tom Dixon. In The Opposite House’s Suite 115, signature pieces including the Melt LED portable lamp, Bash vessel and Spin candelabra and the Eclectic Collection created a gold-plated experience that reflected the designer’s innovative thinking and eco-conscious perspective.

The Middle House

At The Middle House, we styled our 90sqm Studio with Tom Dixon’s Wingback chair, Tank decanter and low ball glasses for a very cosmopolitan stay – complete with three themed cocktails at Cafe Grey Deluxe, each as individual as our Houses.
